OUR MISSION:

Our mission is to build stronger and healthier Lao communities throughout the United States. From Fresno to Miami & Seattle to Providence, we want to develop passionate Lao leaders for tomorrow and also honor our elders by preserving our beautiful Lao heritage.

Our mission is invested in the public health and the economic success of Lao communities throughout the United States. That means we foster a sense of community and advocate that Lao people in the United States have access to primary and preventative medicine and are also entrepreneurs of their destinies.

We have offices in San Jose, Modesto & Fresno, California, U.S.
We are multi-ethnic and multi-generational. Lao people are international citizens: in that we are American, Lao's People Democratic Republic, Chinese, French, Thai, Australian, Canadian, Filipino, Vietnamese, Burmese, and English.

Ethnically we are Lao Lum, Lao Khmu, Lao Luang, Lao Hmong, Lao Tai, Tai Dam, Phu Tai, Gringo, Hapa, Nguoi Viet, Issan, Shan, Yao, Dai, Viet, Khmer, half-Lao or part Lao, or just love a Lao person or the country. 

We are a 501c (3) organization that is a not for profit, not affiliated with any religious, political, financial, governmental, or idealogical institution. We are governed by a board of directors and depending on our local programs, we are guided by a voluntary advisory board.

Our funds come from public and private supporters like you. Through the support of the California Endowment and The California Wellness Foundation, we have been able to successfully provide public health programs and leadership initiatives to our community. 

We have come together to celebrate and preserve "Sait" Lao, the uniqueness and beauty that is from the Kingdom of Lan Xang, Lao: ລ້ານຊ້າງ lâansâang - ລ້ານ "million" ຊ້າງ "elephant, the Land of the million Elephants. 

It's time to share our stories, memories, & dreams with each other of all that is Lao.
